Blockchain & Post-Quantum Engineering

Engineered for the chain.
Secured for the quantum era.

VTS Labs designs and builds blockchain systems, digital asset platforms, and the cryptographic foundations beneath them, including migration paths to post-quantum standards.

Senior-led engineering, from protocol to custody to key management.

The quantum problem

Q-day is a migration problem. Migrations take years.

A cryptographically relevant quantum computer breaks the elliptic-curve signatures securing most chains, wallets, and custody stacks. The standards to replace them exist today. The exposure compounds while migration waits.

For digital asset businesses, this is balance-sheet risk, custody risk, and regulatory risk on one timeline.

SIGNATURESECDSA and secp256k1 are not quantum-safe
EXPOSUREReused addresses reveal public keys on-chain, permanently
HNDLEncrypted traffic recorded today can be decrypted later
CUSTODYHSM, PKI, and key lifecycles built on classical assumptions
AGILITYCryptography hard-coded into protocols, wallets, and APIs
GOVERNANCEChain upgrades require coordination, not just code
LONGEVITYAssets and records that must stay valid for decades
REGULATIONGovernment migration timelines are already set
Quantum information security

Post-quantum readiness, engineered.

We take digital asset platforms from cryptographic inventory to implemented, standards-based protection, without breaking the systems in production.

What we do

  • Cryptographic asset inventory and crypto-agility assessment
  • PQC readiness and migration planning and implementation
  • Standards-based schemes: ML-KEM, ML-DSA, SLH-DSA (FIPS 203, 204, 205)
  • Hybrid classical plus post-quantum rollouts for live systems
  • Key management, HSM, PKI, and certificate lifecycle
  • Zero-trust architecture and encryption in depth
  • Quantum-safe design for wallets, custody, and protocols

Where it applies

Exchanges Custody providers Wallet infrastructure Stablecoin issuers RWA platforms Protocols & L1/L2s Enterprise chains

The order of operations matters: inventory what cryptography you run, decide what must survive the longest, then migrate in hybrid steps that regulators and auditors can follow.

Know your exposure before someone else prices it for you.

Discuss PQC readiness

Blockchain engineering

Full-stack chain capability, one senior team.

From protocol architecture to the platforms institutions actually run on.

Protocol & network engineering

Chain architecture, consensus, network development, and protocol-level upgrades.

Smart contracts & dApps

Contract systems and decentralized applications built for audit and scale.

Tokenization & RWA platforms

Real-world asset issuance, registries, and digital asset platform development.

Stablecoins & payment rails

A note on restraint

Blockchain only where the trust model earns it.

Chains create value when multiple parties need a shared, verifiable record. We assess the fit first, and we recommend against blockchain when:

  • A database with access controls solves the problem
  • Every party is comfortable with one central operator
  • Provenance and shared verification carry no real value
  • Transaction economics don't support the design
  • The governance and operating model are undefined

Blockchain is valuable when the trust model needs to change. When it doesn't, we'll say so.

Why VTS Labs

Senior-led. Standards-driven. Already in the region.

A US-based engineering firm with active client engagements in the UAE, delivering across blockchain, AI, and security.

Senior bench

More than 20 senior engineers spanning blockchain, cryptography, AI, cloud, and systems integration. No rotating juniors.

PRD+ before spend

Every engagement can start with a structured 15-day discovery that produces a decision-ready plan: architecture, effort, budget range, and the recommended path.

Proven delivery

A live post-quantum Layer-1 and the platforms around it, plus further case studies across AI, fintech, and enterprise systems.

Selected work

Shipped, on-chain, and live.

A live EVM Layer-1 with post-quantum cryptography, the platforms around it, tokenized real estate on Base, a wallet we hardened, and the quantum-security partner behind the entropy. Tap any card to read the case study.

On the floor in Dubai, 09-10 September.
